I’m Lynn Mariano and I’m running for Governor.

As a graduate of Farrington High School, Chaminade University, and the University of Hawaii, I am frustrated by the challenges we all face here at home. According to national surveys, our state has been the worst place to earn a living for over a decade. We can do better!
We can grow and diversify our economy by supporting local industry and businesses.
We can eliminate wasteful spending and abolish fees that unfairly burden local households.
We can update our infrastructures.
We can protect our schools and give our teachers a competitive wage.
We can find dignified solutions to help our homeless and reclaim our public parks.

As a retired combat veteran, I’ve obtained a wealth of knowledge supporting international, federal, state and local governments. I’ve led individuals, teams, and organizations through challenging situations by fostering teamwork, collaboration, and inspiring people to work together.
I have 40+ years’ experience in:
Managing and balancing multimillion dollar budgets
Managing emergencies and continuity of government
Evaluating public systems and urban infrastructures
I want to apply the lessons I’ve learned over a lifetime of service. If you elect me Governor, I will hit the ground running on Day 1 with a plan to move Hawai’i forward toward a brighter future.
